Working with the City of Northwood, Ohio, EMH&T’s Planning and Landscape Architecture Division has developed a master plan for the 133-acre site of the former Woodville Mall that includes single-family, patio home, and multi-family residential. Also included is a senior housing facility, 4 out lots, a community center, and 30 acres of mixed use commercial. On-site amenities incorporated into the master plan include a 3-acre central park, 31 acres of open space consisting of buffers, stormwater management, entry features, and 1.5 mile loop path.

EMH&T congratulates Whitehall Parks and Recreation and the City of Whitehall on receiving the 2020 Governor’s Award from the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association (OPRA). The Governor’s Award is selected from the first place award winners in the various categories. Last fall the Whitehall Community Park YMCA project received first place in the competition’s “Capital Improvement Projects - $2.5 Million and Up” category. The Governor’s Award recognizes the one award from all of the first place winners that has made the most significant impact in the lives of Ohioans.

EMH&T celebrates Earth Day 2021. The theme for this year is Restore Our Earth and the focus is on natural processes, emerging green technologies, and innovative thinking that can help restore the world’s ecosystems.
