The National Veterans Memorial and Museum in downtown Columbus has received the Award of Merit from Engineering News-Record (ENR) Midwest Region in the Cultural/Worship category. Submitted by Turner Construction, the projects’ contractor, the museum was one of 97 projects submitted this year.

On August 15, EMH&T hosted the second of a two-session series with leaders from the Columbus area development community on Central Ohio housing. The forums facilitated the group in moving toward identifying solutions for the widening gap of available housing in Central Ohio and the expected million-plus new residents in the next 30 years. EMH&T is proud to work with professionals who care deeply about Central Ohio.

Congratulations to OSU Newark and the Central Ohio Technical College on the groundbreaking of the new Alford Center for Science and Technology. EMH&T was proud to provide professional site/civil engineering services as part of the team led by Design Group, Inc. architects for this 60,000 sf state-of-the-art facility that will be dedicated to science and technology education for the two schools’ shared campus in Newark, Ohio.
