The Grange Insurance Audubon Center welcomes two new members to its Stewardship Board. Jim Dziatkowicz, Director of Planning and Landscape Architecture at EMH&T and Scott Doran Director at Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter have been appointed for three-year terms. The Stewardship Board is a ten member board comprised of community leaders who invest their time and resources in supporting the Center whose mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth’s biological diversity.

The Association of Floodplain Managers’ annual Floodplain Management Conference is underway at the Huntington Convention Center in beautiful downtown Cleveland, Ohio. The conference is the premier event for floodplain managers from around the world. This year’s theme is “Flood Fest 2019: The Mitigation and Resilience Tour” and features a range of subject matter experts from diverse fields presenting on the topic, including EMH&T’s Miles Hebert, PE, LEED Green Associate, CFM and Shawn Arden, PE, CFM.

Welcome to National Public Works Week! This year’s theme, “It Starts Here,” is part and parcel of EMH&T’s focus to improve quality of life through well planned and designed development and public works projects. Congratulations to EMH&T President Sandy Doyle-Ahern for being recognized with the Special Award: Leadership by Columbus CEO Magazine as part of this year’s Top Workplaces award program. Sandy was recognized for her professionalism and the open communication style she maintains with all of the company’s employees. Sandy has served as EMH&T’s president since 2012.

Spring has sprung, as the saying goes. And so has the latest issue of Ingenium magazine. Sandy’s keynote will bring the day full circle as she shares her practical, experience-based ideas on how to raise up each person in any organization to perform at their highest potential.

EMH&T is honored to be included on Central Ohio’s list of Top Workplaces for 2019!

EMH&T is pleased to announce that the firm has been recognized with the Prime Consultant of the Year Award by the Ohio Department of Transportation at its “Annual Civil Rights Transportation Symposium,” held on April 9 and 10, 2019. EMH&T was nominated by ODOT District 7 Headquarters and Nicole Clune with Clune Consulting Services.

At yesterday’s DesignColumbus 2019 event, presented by USGBC Ohio and the Columbus Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute, DesignGroup Architects and BGSU Director of Design & Construction Brian Swope presented “LEED, Labs and Lineage,” which looked at the renovation of historic Moseley Hall on the BGSU campus.
