For EMH&T Charlotte, a recent announcement from former NBA star and Charlotte Hornet’s Owner, Michael Jordan, has created a significant opportunity for the office. Jordan has committed $7 million to launch two medical clinics in troubled Charlotte communities and EMH&T is proud to be providing professional engineering services for these projects.

Dayton’s Webster Street Bridge Opens to Traffic
After well over a year and a half of construction, the City of Dayton celebrated the opening of the new Webster Street Bridge. The $11 million bridge over the Mad River replaces a 99-year-old structure demolished in early 2016.

EMH&T’s Chelsea Hager Helps Battle the Global Water Crisis
For EMH&T water resources engineer Chelsea Hager, water is her passion. While studying engineering at The Ohio State University, Chelsea had the opportunity to travel to Mexico, Nicaragua, and Honduras where she helped design and implement sustainable solutions for impoverished families. During these trips, Chelsea saw the global water crisis firsthand and knew she had to be a part of the solution.

This year’s awards breakfast theme, Team Building, is a very important business issue for Sandy, and one she has focused much time and attention on in her role as EMH&T president, resulting in continued growth and success for the firm.
