As part of our growing team, we are seeking an experienced Transportation/Roadway Engineer to contribute to our Transportation Planning and Design team and play a pivotal role in our continued success.
You will have the opportunity to assist with all aspects of project development and subsequent plan preparation using drafting and engineering design techniques to meet our client needs. Typical projects involve design or redesign of highways/roadways, interchange design, drainage design, plan reviews, and coordination with public regulatory agencies and utility companies. You will be conscientiously mentored and will gain experience on a vast array of projects; including large-scale roadway design projects and city/township/county projects, offering a wide variety of scope.
Qualifications
Applicants will possess a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; experience in roadway design and ODOT plan preparation; hands-on design and drafting experience using Microstation/Open Roads/Geopak; and must have a working knowledge in: roadway vertical and horizontal geometric design in accordance with ODOT and AASHTO standards, roadway drainage design and BMP design, and common constructability issues.
