Catie Gullett of the firm’s Cultural Resources Division and Chelsea Hager of the Water Resources Division were nominated and accepted into the 2017 YWCA of Central Ohio’s Leadership for Social Change Program, which honors the legacy of the women who founded the YWCA and focuses on growing the next generation of women leaders in Central Ohio.

Miles Hebert, PE, CFM, LEED Green Associate, EMH&T’s Director of Water Resources Engineering, and Jon Witter, PhD, of The Ohio State University will present at this year’s Ohio Stormwater Conference to be held at the Kalahari Resort and Conference Center in Sandusky, OH. Now in its tenth year, the conference is one of the largest stormwater conferences in the country focusing on stormwater quality issues and technologies.

The final stretch of a long-awaited east-west connector in the City of Columbus is scheduled to begin construction this spring. The completed project will provide area motorists with a much needed direct east-west thoroughfare in northwest Franklin County.

EMH&T is pleased to welcome two experienced veteran project managers to its Charlotte office: Senior Project Manager John Vecchio, PE, and Project Manager Brian Rossi, EI.

The Columbus Business FirstC Top Engineering Firms List was recently released and EMH&T is proud to again be at the top of the list, based on Central Ohio office billings. EMH&T sits in the list’s number one spot with over $49 million in billings and 62 local registered engineers. The last in our series of EMH&T projects in recognition of Engineer’s week examines our work on the Green Infrastructure (GI) parking lot designed for Easton Gateway at the Easton mixed-use development. When the Easton Town Center mixed-use development opened in the late 1990’s, it represented a completely new concept in the retail world. Not just a mall or just an open plaza, Easton was a hybrid of both designs and represented a new approach to combining the best of retail, office, and residential all within a single “lifestyle” destination

As we continue to celebrate Engineer’s Week, today we look at EMH&T’s Harrison Hub Fractionation Facility project in Harrison County, Ohio. By any standard this facility is big. The plant is 1.2 miles long and a half-mile wide and processes 90,000 barrels of natural gas liquids each day. At 594 acres and incorporating a rail yard with 10 miles of track, it is the first fully integrated gathering, processing, and fractionation facility in operation in Ohio and is the biggest midstream service complex in the state.

As we continue to celebrate Engineer’s Week, today’s EMH&T “big dream” project ensured that the Columbus Clippers, the city’s Triple-A minor league ball club, were able to welcome fans to their new downtown stadium as scheduled.
