The EMH&T-designed Blacklick Creek Sanitary Interceptor Sewer project received an Outstanding Achievement Award from ACEC Ohio in its annual engineering design competition. This year, 32 entries were judged on various categories ranging from project uniqueness to complexity and even social and economic impact on the region. EMH&T’s project was one of ten to receive this recognition. The 23,000 linear foot sewer tunnel provides an improved level of public infrastructure serving the far north and east reach of the City of Columbus service area and provides the backbone of infrastructure needed to support the area’s continued growth and development.
