EMH&T’s Urban Design division is engaged with another project designed to improve an urban, inner core area. Following on the heels of multiple recent projects throughout downtown Columbus, the Franklinton area west of the Scioto River is quickly becoming the new focus of redevelopment. EMH&T engineers are currently working on improvements to West Broad Street, including a full-depth roadway reconstruction of this major thoroughfare stretching west from the Scioto River to the railroad tracks, including water lines, storm sewers, new traffic signals as well as stormwater management for both detention and water quality. A roadway diet is also included to calm traffic and provide for improved pedestrian and bicycle circulation within this redeveloping area.
There’s an easy way to see how we can help. Let’s talk about it.
