Indian Lake State Park Water Plant and Elevated Storage Tank for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources
Indian Lake State Park, OH
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources requested an upgrade to the Indian Lake State Park potable water system due to it being insufficient for the peak park usage. Water systems serving Ohio state parks require the flexibility to serve a wide range of flows, as well as have minimum operational and maintenance requirements. This design included the following components in addition to the water treatment plant upgrades: repainting the existing 100,000-gallon elevated water storage tank, park office waterline upgrades, a chlorine contact system for existing wells for the Fox Island area, and upgrades to the existing wells (piping and appurtenances), and construction of a new well.
