Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Study
City of Fairborn, OH
EMH&T performed a sanitary sewer evaluation survey on the City’s three major sanitary sewer interceptors and two river crossings as well as flow to the water reclamation center that treats the sewage. Fairborn also requested a hard look at the force main and gravity sewer that conveyed sewage from the City’s primary lift station to the south interceptor. EMH&T relied on historical data from the City’s Wastewater Master Plan supplemented with dry and wet weather flow monitoring data findings to provide a report of current usage, remaining capacity of each interceptor and river crossings, force main, and lift station and overall system deficiencies for the City to use in future infrastructure planning for correcting deficiencies.
