Rogue Fitness Site Design
Since the Timken Company’s plant closing in 1986, the manufacturing facility’s 31-acre site in the Milo-Grogan neighborhood of Columbus has sat idle and empty. But in 2015, a local manufacturing company stepped up and decided to re-locate to this well-positioned, inner-city site. Columbus-based Rogue Fitness is building a new 500,000 square foot manufacturing/warehouse/ headquarters facility on 23 acres at the southwest corner of the property. Rogue Fitness is a manufacturer of strength and conditioning equipment for popular workout programs like CrossFit. The remaining acreage on the site will be developed as multiple “outparcel” buildings for additional tenants.
EMH&T provided site/civil engineering services for the rehabilitation of this site. Professional engineering services include mass grading and earthwork plans, on-site storm sewer, on-site stormwater management and detention, on site sanitary sewer, private water service and water line plan, preliminary site plan and final site plan showing walks and site amenities, private site utility coordination, and construction staking, site topographic and ALTA survey.
