Webster Street Bridge Decorative Lighting

Dayton, OH

When EMH&T designed the new Webster Street Bridge over the Mad River, our engineers also designed a specialized computer-controlled decorative LED lighting system. Utilizing multiple circuits, the bridge’s lighting system will have color-changing capabilities integrated, allowing the City of Dayton to light the bridge in accordance with special events (for example, lighting the bridge pink in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, or red, white and blue for July 4th). In addition, the “beacon” design for the bridge’s four towers at the entry plazas on both ends feature lights that can shine up into the sky for a special illuminating effect.
