Easton Gateway Traffic Impact Study
EMH&T has been part of the planning and design of Easton Town Center and the surrounding area for nearly 20 years. Easton is an industry-leading multi-use project whose 3 million square feet of commercial space generates 22 million visits annually. Easton Town Center is an economic engine that continues to add hotels, residences and office space in northeast Columbus, Ohio. The latest addition is Easton Gateway, offering nearly 600,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and office space, and EMH&T provided a full array of site civil and transportation engineering services supporting its development. EMH&T advised the developer on alternate access strategies and prepared a formal traffic access study encompassing 2 freeway interchanges, 5 existing intersections, and 5 site access points. We worked closely with public agency staff through the permitting process and to integrate site operations into existing signal systems and area road networks.
