Campus Partners 15th and High Boundary Survey
Columbus, OH
Redevelopment efforts adjacent to the OSU Campus area continue with the revitalization of a nine-acre swath of land around the intersection of 15th Avenue and North High Street. Key to the makeover will be a realignment of 15th Avenue for a clear sight line facing west toward Thompson Library from a new public plaza at the intersection and a more complete pedestrian connection. Proposed new development within the area includes four- or five-story office buildings with street-level retail and restaurants, a 150-room hotel, 500-space parking garage and a more pedestrian-friendly environment anchored by the new plaza at the northeast corner of High and 15th. EMH&T prepared a boundary survey for this area. Our surveyors researched available public records such as deeds, plats, right-of-way plans, and surveys to aid in the retracement of the boundary survey of the subject tract. We established boundary lines based on this research and in combination with field-located boundary markers. Upon completion of the survey we set missing or proposed boundary monumentation.
