Rickenbacker Global Logistics Park
This project is part of a public/private partnership between Columbus Regional Airport Authority, Duke Realty, and Capitol Square, Ltd. to develop a 1,000-acre industrial/warehouse campus near Rickenbacker International Airport. EMH&T is currently performing conceptual planning of new lead tracks to rail-serve the industrial park. Additional services for the industrial park have included coordinating between multiple consultants and municipal jurisdictions to complete a master drainage study for the entire Rickenbacker area, and schematic design of stormwater management infrastructure, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and construction documents for approximately 10,000 feet of 24-inch water main to serve the development sites. EMH&T prepared plans for the layout of buildings, parking lots and loading docks on each site to maximize the yield of buildable area for the overall development. Our services included evaluating the available capacity of existing drainage outlets and earthwork calculations to determine the material available within the project limits to obtain a balanced site.
