ODOT Outpost Maintenance Facility
EMH&T provided professional civil site design for a new Ohio Department of Transportation Outpost Maintenance Facility located on approximately seven acres just south of the Village of Dresden, Ohio. The new facility replaces an existing one in that area and consists of a garage, salt barn, brine tanks, and a fueling station, along with appropriate parking, ingress and egress for large trucks, and site improvement utility infrastructure. EMH&T engineers provided site civil design including site grading, stormwater drainage/water quality, parking lots and transportation access, as well as design for utility extensions (water /sanitary sewer) to the undeveloped site/new facility from over 1 mile away in Dresden. In order to bring sewer to the site, EMH&T engineers designed a lift station and a force main for the sanitary sewer as part of the scope.
