EMH&T has provided civil/site design for Kroger stores throughout the Midwest through our professional survey, engineering and landscape architecture team. Our years of Kroger experience means our client gains the benefit of professionals that know how they go together, how they work, and how they are operated. It is because of this knowledge that a strong partnership has been forged between EMH&T and Kroger. Kroger relies upon EMH&T to provide conceptual planning services for their real estate efforts from laying out a site on vacant land in developing communities using their prototype layouts and buildings to looking at the feasibility of a site specific design with a constrained downtown urban footprint with parking on the roof of a two story grocery store. From there, a project becomes slated for construction and EMH&T works to gain complex approvals to entitle the project while moving forward with construction documents to meet their goals of store opening. EMH&T stays with the project for its entire duration to help the contractors solve problems in the field and make sure the utilities are all on board with required relocations and new services.
