Grove City Library
Grove City, OH
This new 46,000 square foot library on a 1.3-acre site for the Southwest Public Library System provides a new facility that improves library service delivery to the growing local community. The project site was specifically selected at the intersection of two main roads to act as a destination point, provide a positive effect on the Town Center, and serve as catalyst for redevelopment. The project was designed by Braun & Steidl Architects in collaboration with HBM Architects. EMH&T provided complete site/civil engineering services, including site utilities, site grading, stormwater drainage and sanitary sewer, site drives, and surface parking and walks. Particular attention was paid to site circulation and parking to ensure appropriate movement patterns and clearances were provided for the drive-up book drop-off that is a significant feature of the modern branch library building.
