Polaris Mitigation Projects
For more than a decade, EMH&T’s Environmental Division has worked closely with developers of the Polaris area, one of the largest mixed use developments in Central Ohio. EMH&T has completed a series of permit applications associated with the development, which has resulted in five separate stream and wetland mitigation projects. Collectively, these projects have resulted in the restoration/enhancement of over 6,400 linear feet of stream and 4.2 acres of emergent wetland to date, with additional restoration work ongoing. This work has been completed both on the site of the commercial/residential development projects, and offsite at the Zumstein South Mitigation Site. EMH&T has been responsible for all aspects of these mitigation projects, including permitting, restoration design, planting plans, construction oversight and post-construction monitoring.
