ODOT Statewide Environmental Commitment Monitoring
EMH&T is taking a multi-disciplinary approach to assist ODOT with monitoring environmental commitments on ODOT projects throughout Ohio. ODOT has allotted up to $300,000 to complete monitoring actions on various projects, on a task order basis. In conjunction with a skilled team of subconsultants, EMH&T’s environmental, construction administration services, and water resources professionals will help ODOT improve compliance with environmental commitments. These commitments are aimed at mitigating adverse environmental impacts associated with the improvements and maintenance of transportation infrastructure. A project highlight is the monitoring of the major I-270/SR-315/US-23 North Central Outerbelt re-construction in northern Franklin County, Ohio. This project will be monitored during construction to assist with compliance of environmental commitments, including erosion and sediment control.
