Carbide Liquid Handling Facility
EMH&T provided engineering services for the construction of a liquid handling facility including rail and truck loading/unloading operations. Located in Carbide, WV the facility will allow Eureka Hunter Pipeline to process Natural Gas Liquids (NGL’s) from their pipelines and ship them via rail and truck. EMH&T coordinated with Eureka Hunter Pipeline’s engineers to develop the most efficient design for the rail facility as well as the truck routing. EMH&T performed containment calculation for the tank spill containment areas as well as obtained required plan approvals from CSXT. EMH&T was responsible for the survey, site prep, grading, drainage, track, permitting, spill containment, SPCC plan, and erosion and sediment control.
