Summary

EMH&T is currently looking for a Registered Professional Land Surveyor to join our team based in Charlotte, NC office. This position has responsibility for the planning and completion of multiple survey projects and production of survey documents by working with office and field staff to ensure the final work product meets the client’s scope, standards, and deadline.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The incumbent provides estimations of personnel hours and materials needed to prepare bid proposals, assist in establishing completion dates, works closely with crew and clients and resolves boundary issues. Oversees preparation and scheduling of staking plans, ALTA surveys, as-built surveys, topographic surveys, mortgage surveys, etc. Works collaboratively with clients on specifications and modifications as project is underway. This position may engage in problem solving with municipal or utility companies in order to move a project forward.

Qualifications require candidates to be a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in the State of North Carolina and 5-8 years of broad survey experience. Multi-state registrations are a plus. Must be able to work in Auto CAD and Trimble.
