Storm and Sanitary Sewer System Master Plan for the City of Bexley, Ohio
Bexley, OhioThe City of Bexley requested EMH&T to prepare a stormwater and sanitary sewer collection system master plan in order to identify deficiencies within the collection systems and remedies to several water-in-basement issues that occurred following a 50-year storm event in August 2003. EMH&T completed the master plan on a citywide basis. In addition to population projections, wastewater production estimates and storm water projections for a 2- and 5- year storm, the master plan identified a capital improvement list for the most probable and beneficial projects for a five-year planning horizon. EMH&T then completed a review of existing facilities and finished by recommending an implementation plan to the City. The City is in the process of completing the projects.
