CIP 704: Linden Ditch Areawide Stormwater System Study for Columbus

Columbus, Ohio

EMH&T collected data and historical information to identify the cause of the stormwater-related problems affecting the Linden Ditch area. EMH&T performed a hydraulic study of the storm systems and developed alternative solutions to address stormwater problems. The computer models for this study were performed using TR-20 watershed models, Storm CAD storm sewer models, and HEC-2 floodplain models. Included in investigations were field surveys, complaint research, records review, coordination with City staff, and development of storm sewer system capacity models to reflect both existing conditions and conditions that may result from implementation of various system modifications. EMH&T engineers developed cost estimates of alternative system improvements.
