GIS APPLICATION DEVELOPER
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
The Application Developer is a key contributor to the creation of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) for clients of EMH&Tís Geospatial Solutions division. The incumbent will have responsibility for GIS application developments using primarily ESRI technology. The applications and/or enhancements are either desktop-based or web-based configurations. In addition to design, this position will also troubleshoot and correct reported problems with software or program. The Developer will be engaged in the development and implementation of system specifications, design, integration, testing, and documentation based on client need and ensures compliance with quality standards established. The Developer will interact with current and prospective clients, providing information and explanations about business advantages, functionality, and optimization as it relates to the clientís current and future business needs.



ENGINEER
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
This design and technical position within EMH&Tís Public Works Division provides engineering and technical project support for a variety of public infrastructure improvement projects with a focus on the following municipal services: infrastructure assessment, evaluation and rehabilitation; pavement assessment and maintenance; sewer assessment and design; pump station design; roadway reconstruction and drainage design; and general preliminary engineering studies and reports. This position will serve as a key technical lead within the Public Works Division reporting to a senior level Project Manager. This individual will be responsible for planning and organizing workflow, provide technical oversight of various components of project design, prepare design calculations and subsequent plan details and specifications, as well as assist with plan reviews and modifications. In addition, the successful candidate will assist with client management and various marketing tasks including the preparation of competitive proposals.



ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - PART TIME
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
This Part Time Permanent position will support the Communications Director and Business Development Director and will have key responsibilities for maintaining accurate client information within the Deltek Vision system. The successful candidate will provide QA/QC on contact/company records for completeness/accuracy, generate new records, create reports utilizing numerous criteria, develop marketing campaign contact lists, track activities with contacts/companies, and input data as necessary. This person will also provide standards training and support as necessary to other Vision users. In addition, will support the marketing divisions activities including compiling marketing materials, social media, reports, follow-up, etc., and other clerical assistance.



ENGINEER INTERN (EIT)
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
This entry level, full time engineer position is a part of the design team in the Public Works division and has a primary responsibility for assisting with projects by providing AutoCAD drafting and engineering design activities based on level of experience and ability. Project work is typically in public infrastructure design for redevelopment and involves design of sanitary collection systems, sewer systems, storm water, private utility designs, water distribution systems, interceptor sewers and/or transmission mains, but can include design support with roadway redesign and redevelopment footprints. May be asked to provide support with project proposals, such as preparation of exhibits. Will be directed on incorporating municipal plan practices or standards or EMH&T standards to meet the clientís needs.



ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Job Responsibilities
This position supports the Survey and Landscape Architecture divisions; providing general administrative support as assigned to facilitate efficient and effective business operations for the director, as well as, multiple leaders and project managers within both teams and will report directly to the Director of Survey. Responsible for providing analytical and systematic support with information gathered from project managers, staff member and staff meetings. Gather ancillary and preparation of internal division information for proposal and submittal purposes. Support with the initial and on-going lifecycle of projects while maintaining corporate processes and procedures (i.e. create and maintain records on work in progress, update director on deadlines, work submissions, internal and external correspondences, miscellaneous deliverables, and archiving). MARKETING COORDINATOR

Job Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the director, manages the production of responses to teaming requests (primarily architect-led pursuits). Originates and edits technical documents and marketing materials including, but not limited to case studies, project sheets, resumes, service sheets, etc. Will also assist or originate communications items as they relate to press releases, website update information, social media, exhibiting displays, internal employee communications and external public communications and relations activities. SENIOR TECHNICIAN (CAD)
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of the project manager, this position transforms initial rough designs using computer aided design (CAD) drafting into working documents. Reviews engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications, EMH&T standards, and client needs.



SENIOR ENGINEER - NC
CHARLOTTE, NC

Job Responsibilities
This key site civil design position in the Charlotte division of EMH&T has responsibilities for performing a lead role for all aspects of project design, layout, calculations, and subsequent plan preparation, plan reviews and modification, including coordination and concurrence functions with public regulatory agencies and utility companies. This position will also be engaged in basic water resources design in support of site development projects. Perform QC/QA design review on complex and non-complex design projects, direct and review the work tasks assigned to others to ensure quality design work products are delivered to clients. This position may serve as a client liaison, coordinating project schedules, problem solutions, budgets and quality work products. Written work products must have order, clarity, and conciseness.



CAD TECHNICIAN - SURVEY
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
This Full Time position will work under the direction of a Professional Surveyor, this candidate will be responsible for transforming and preparing initial designs into working documents using AutoCAD. Other tasks will be performed and assigned including designs for topographic, ALTA and boundary surveys. The incumbent will develop a practical understanding and application of learned principles via performing basic surveys, e.g. leveling, traversing, metes and bounds surveys, construction surveys, photo control surveys, and GPS. Work will include but is not limited to; condominium and subdivision plats, lot splits, easement descriptions, and terrain modeling.

ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN

This key position in the Columbus office will work with the Senior Environmental Scientist and has responsibility for the completion of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), environmental reviews, site inspections, and asbestos surveys. Depending upon experience, the incumbent may also assist with Phase II ESAs and associated environmental due diligence procedures.



ENGINEER/DESIGNER - TRAFFIC
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
This engineering/design position is a part of the Traffic team and has primary responsibility for traffic design including Traffic Control, Traffic Signals and Signal Systems, Highway and Site Lighting and Maintenance of Traffic During Construction. The incumbent may also prepare Impact Studies, Safety Studies, Interchange Justification/Modification Studies, Signal Warrant Studies, Parking Studies, Pedestrian and Bikeway Planning, and Corridor Analysis including signal system timing and assessment. The successful candidate must prepare plans, specifications and estimates for traffic engineering improvements and prepare written reports and orally present results and recommendations. The engineer/designer may be asked to provide support with project proposals, including statements of qualifications, scope of services and fee proposals. The engineer/designer may be asked to develop, review, assess and incorporate varied jurisdictional standards and policy requirements depending on project location and client needs.
