CAD TECHNICIAN - URBAN DESIGN
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of a project manager, this position will provide drafting support for civil development projects from start to finish. Various tasks include preparation of concept layouts, plan and profile drawings, details, utility plans, roadway plans, etc. in accordance with local zoning standards and internal drafting standards. Typical projects range from public roadway projects to commercial and residential sites.



SENIOR SURVEY TECHNICIAN-NC
CHARLOTTE, NC

Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of a Professional Surveyor, this candidate will be responsible for transforming and preparing initial designs into working documents using AutoCAD. Other tasks will be performed and assigned including CAD designs for topographic, ALTA and boundary surveys. Work will include but is not limited to; condominium and subdivision plats, lot splits, easement descriptions, and terrain modeling.



SURVEYOR - NC
CHARLOTTE, NC

Job Responsibilities
Primary responsibility for the planning and completion of multiple survey projects and production of survey documents by incumbent or survey technician that meet client scope, standards, and deadline. Provide estimations of, personnel hours and materials needed to prepare bid proposals and assist in establishing completion dates. Preparation of construction staking plans, ALTA surveys, as-built surveys, mortgage surveys, etc. Works collaboratively with clients and engineering staff on specifications and modifications as project is underway. May engage in problem solving with municipal or utility companies in order to move a project forward.



ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
This position is responsible for tracking and managing Accounts Receivable delinquencies. Works with Vice President to plan and carry out action steps to resolve delinquencies including contacting the client, working through internal issues that may cause delinquencies, sending collection letters to the clients and forwarding unresolvable delinquent accounts to our Collections Attorney. Reviews EMH&T client invoices before going to Billing Manager. Records notes from PMs regarding invoice status in database. Assists Vice President in communicating to PMs project performance issues as noted in month-end reports. Collect responses from PMs and performs data-entry to record responses to appear on new reports.



GENERAL LABORER (CCTV Assistant)
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
Successful candidate will assist with the set up of specialized equipment associated with televising and marking location of storm water and sanitary sewers. Duties involve the collection of data and working around sanitary and storm sewers. The work is often physically demanding and involves long workdays, especially in summer months. WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER (EIT)
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of a seasoned Water Resources engineer or Project Manager, carry out specific and detailed instructions on simple to moderately complex hydraulic and hydrologic calculations primarily as part of stormwater improvement studies and runoff plans, preliminary design studies, floodplain studies, or watershed planning and environmental-based studies. Provide design support, research studies and planning documents related to various stormwater and floodplain management projects in conjunction with private site development and public infrastructure improvements. Actively become involved with the completion of stormwater management reports, including the analysis and design of detention and post-construction water quality facilities in accordance with local and state-wide regulatory guidelines. Will also be involved with assisting in the preparation of floodplain permit applications, including hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and FEMA map change applications. Incumbent will learn to perform basic engineering calculations, use of Pondpack, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM or similar software for conducting water resources calculations, and will use AutoCAD to begin to demonstrate design solutions.



ENGINEER - NC
CHARLOTTE, NC

Job Responsibilities
This key site civil design position in the Charlotte division of EMH&T has responsibilities for performing a lead role for all aspects of project design, layout, calculations, and subsequent plan preparation, plan reviews and modification, including coordination and concurrence functions with public regulatory agencies and utility companies. This position will also be engaged in basic water resources design in support of site development projects. Perform QC/QA design review on complex and non-complex design projects, direct and review the work tasks assigned to others to ensure quality design work products are delivered to clients. This position may serve as a client liaison, coordinating project schedules, problem solutions, budgets and quality work products. Written work products must have order, clarity, and conciseness.



PROJECT MANAGER (Site Civil) - IN
INDIANAPOLIS, IN

Job Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for interpreting, planning and executing engineering projects. This includes definition of scope, development of design concepts, estimating costs, coordinating work and performance of staff assigned to project, and capturing and communicating project plan changes, reviewing invoices and conducting project QA/QC reviews. This position will serve as a client liaison, coordinating project schedules, problem solutions, budgets and quality work products. Written work products must have order, clarity, and conciseness.



(EIT) ENGINEER - SITE/CIVIL
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of a seasoned PM, receives instructions for required tasks and results expected for the production of private development plans. Creates drawings and makes basic calculations on assigned portions of mutiple projects. Performs basic engineering calculations and uses AutoCAD to begin to apply engineering education to practical design solutions.

Perform QC/QA design review on complex and non-complex design projects, direct and review the work tasks assigned to others to ensure quality products are delivered to clients. This position must serve as a client liaison, coordinating project schedules, problem solutions, budgets and quality work products. Written work products must have order, clarity, and conciseness.



ENGINEER - RAILROAD DESIGN

Job Responsibilities
This key position in the Rail division has responsibilities in assisting with all aspects of planning and organizing workflow, conducting all aspects of rail project design, layout, calculations and subsequent plan preparation, plan reviews and modification, including coordination and concurrence functions with railroad and public regulatory agencies and utility companies. Perform QC/QA design review on complex and non-complex design tasks to ensure quality products are delivered to clients. Prepare engineering documents and reports, such as Preliminary Engineering Studies, detail design reports, bid packages and tabulations, probable construction cost estimates, etc.
