SURVEY ASSISTANT - NC

Job Responsibilities
This Temporary, full time general laborer role will be assisting survey operations in the field as a Rodman under the direction of a Survey Crew Chief or a Survey Instrument Operator. The need to transition this position to a regular, full time role will be assessed at yearend. Primary responsibilities include driving metal and wood stakes, holding survey rod, and ensuring that survey supplies and equipment are prepared for the survey tasks at hand. May perform maintenance of certain equipment and maintain adequate supplies and carry supplies from the truck to the survey site. Will be given direction and will assist with other various field duties in the process of data collection.



ENGINEER/SR. ENGINEER

This design and technical position within EMH&Tís Public Works Division provides engineering and technical project support for a variety of public infrastructure improvement projects with a focus on the following municipal services: roadway reconstruction and drainage design, pavement assessment and maintenance, water infrastructure evaluation and design, sewer design, and general preliminary engineering studies and reports. This position will serve in a key technical role within the Public Works Division reporting to a senior level Project Manager. This individual will be responsible for planning and organizing workflow, providing technical oversight of various project components, preparing and reviewing design calculations, details and specifications, as well as assisting with plan reviews and modifications. In addition, the successful candidate will assist with client management with various marketing tasks including the preparation of competitive proposals. PROJECT ENGINEER / DESIGNER - NC

Job Responsibilities
Add exponential design growth to your site civil career with EMH&T. This position for the EMH&T Charlotte office will work under the direction of a senior project manager and provide design support and management for private development projects, creating project designs from start to finish, including 3D conceptual plans, master planning, drainage analysis, surface preparations, incorporating line work and contour drawings from survey data points. The incumbent will develop plan and profile drawings and details, such as building placement, grading, utility plans, storm sewers, roadways, required easements, access drives, paring and more in accordance with local zoning standards and internal EMH&T drafting standards. This full time position is under the direction of a seasoned PM or engineer in the Rail Division and assists with various project designs components such as utilities, drainage, grading, etc. Based on experience, some exposure to clients, municipalities, and utilities representatives. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

This position reports directly to upper management, and provides general administrative support as assigned for the multiple divisions to facilitate efficient and effective business operations for multiple leaders and project managers. WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER - IN

This position will work under the direction and mentorship of a seasoned professional Senior Water Resource Engineer.
