ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Accounting Department in filing, copying, mailing, data-entry and various duties as assigned by the director. Responsibilities include: 1. Organizes and maintains Invoice files (active and dormant. 2. Receives Draft invoices and backup reports weekly (auto-invoices) from Billings Manager and collates. Pulls invoice packets from active files and assembles with Draft invoices and backup reports for Project Managers’ review. 3. Copy, sort, fold and mail invoices (weekly) and statements (monthly). 4. Performs some data-entry of accounting transactions as required. 5. Sorts and files accounting documents, retrieves and copies as requested. 6. Perform various functions as needed such as pulling records and preparing for storage, assisting other department members when necessary and other general office duties as assigned



SURVEY CREW CHIEF (NC)
CHARLOTTE, NC

Job Responsibilities
Using a broad array of surveying methods and equipment, organizes and maintains efficiency of the field survey crew in completing specific tasks for private and public clients. The position will make accurate measurements and delineate property boundaries; gather data relevant to specific land features, including shape, contour, location, elevation and dimension for the preparation of ALTA and boundary surveys; accurately record and convey this information for use in engineering, mapping, construction; and perform basic survey calculations. This role has lead responsibility to manage field crew while being actively involved in the accurate recording and calculations of field data; provide instruction and development of field crew members to ensure accuracy and accountability of the team; and respond appropriately to inquiries about survey projects or presence of survey teams to clients, contractors, utility or municipal personnel or property owners.



EIT / ENGINEER (IN)
INDIANAPOLIS, IN

Job Responsibilities
Add exponential design growth to your site civil career with EMH&T. This full time position for the EMH&T Indianapolis office will work under the direction of a senior project manager and provide design support and management for private development project components such as site layout, utility design, and grading and drainage designs. This team mate will be closely mentored by the project manager for optimal growth, as well as, by other team mates in the office. This position has the potential for a high level of growth in design skills for a motivated candidate looking for a team-oriented company with diverse civil engineering disciplines in-house. Activities will involve design utilizing applicable software, team meetings, site visits, client meetings, and meetings with municipalities. Development of a project from concepts through construction administration will be emphasized.



SENIOR CONSTRUCTION REPRESENTATIVE (SCR)
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
The Senior Construction Representative (SCR) reports to the Director of Construction Services and manages multiple capital improvement projects (CIPs) in the public sector. The SCR serves as the municipal owner’s primary representative for the construction of CIPs. The SCR may manage the preparation of bid documents and bidding services. The SCR will manage the CIP construction services from award to contract closeout and all aspects of the construction projects including contract conformance, schedules, budgets, and changes. The SCR shall coordinate the efforts of Resident Project Representatives (RPRs) performing site construction observation, Engineering Technicians, and Contract Administrators. The SCR runs construction progress meetings, manages a construction control document and records system, and prepares construction progress reports. The SCR shall be the primary contact for all construction contract correspondence and requests for information.



EIT / PROJECT ENGINEER (Site Civil)
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
This full time position is under the direction of a seasoned PM or engineer in the Rail Division and assists with various project designs components such as utilities, drainage, grading, etc. Based on experience, some exposure to clients, municipalities, and utilities representatives. Creates design solutions, work products, profiles, and completes calculations on multiple project assignments.



GENERAL LABORER (CCTV Assistant)
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
Successful candidate will assist with the set up of specialized equipment associated with televising and marking location of storm water and sanitary sewers. Duties involve the collection of data and working around sanitary and storm sewers. The work is often physically demanding and involves long workdays, especially in summer months. SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (SITE/CIVIL)
COLUMBUS, OH

Job Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for interpreting, planning and executing engineering projects. This includes definition of scope, development of design concepts, estimating costs, coordination and management of work and performance of staff assigned to project, and capturing and communicating project plan changes, reviewing invoices and conducting project QA/QC reviews. This position must serve as a client liaison, coordinating project schedules, problem solutions, budgets and quality work products. Written work products must have order, clarity, and conciseness.



PROJECT ENGINEER (NC)
CHARLOTTE, NC

Job Responsibilities
The Project Engineer for the EMH&T Charlotte office will work under the direction of a senior project manager and provide design support and management for private development projects, creating project designs from start to finish, including 3D conceptual plans, master planning, drainage analysis, surface preparations, incorporating line work and contour drawings from survey data points. The incumbent will develop plan and profile drawings and details, such as building placement, grading, utility plans, storm sewers, roadways, required easements, access drives, paring and more in accordance with local zoning standards and internal EMH&T drafting standards.
