Scott Derick
BA, Anthropology, The Ohio State University, 1998Teaching others about the extremely rich history and prehistory of Ohio is a passion for Scott. He feels so close to his archaeological work that he has taken an active part in the growth of his department within EMH&T in order to promulgate his love for Ohio history. His personal hobbies are unique to say the least. Not many people can say they have actively participated in Civil War Re-enacting and are so good at it they have been in the movies! Stemming from his love for this genre and his knowledge of military Civil War era clothing, Scott landed a part in the major motion picture "Gods and Generals” and has been part of several movies filmed for the History Channel. He also enjoys outdoor activities and gardening.
