EMH&T Wins AMA Community Development & Engineering Award
11/21/2008 - INDIANAPOLIS, IN:
EMH&T has been selected to receive an award in community development and engineering in the 31st Annual A Monumental Affair Awards in Indiana.
Both the community development and engineering awards center on the revitalization of the Glendale Town Center project in the Glendale suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana. The revamp and redesign included an $18 million (+) overhaul on the mall’s infrastructure and gave all the storefronts an esthetic facelift. Landscape design and a in-depth survey analysis were also done to the project site to perfectly match the existing infrastructural footprint.
EMH&T was selected to provide engineering services by Kite Realty Group in 2006. The project took over two years to complete. However, EMH&T devised a selective construction plan that allowed stores and community businesses stay open through the entire operation.
