Community Involvement
EMH&T has a long history of supporting the communities in which we live, work, and play. From the dozen staff members that sit on Boards of Trustees for various non-profits, to the many fundraising activities conducted by staff every year, the “give back” attitude of our employees is rampant.
Over the past 3 years, EMH&T has organized a golf outing in support of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Columbus, raising nearly $50,000 for the agency. In addition, staff has participated in several house builds and donated hundreds of hours in professional services.
The Directors and Associates Group of EMH&T spearheads a number of activities annually, including volunteering at the Special Olympics, as well as the Mid Ohio Food Bank food drive, Central Ohio Mission coat drive, St. Stephens toy drive, and Red Cross Blood drives. The firm also supports the individual projects of many of our employees throughout the year.
EMH&T has consistently been recognized as a finalist for the Business First of Columbus Corporate Caring awards recognizing dedication to the community. In 2009, EMH&T was honored with the award for mid-size companies.
